Therapy for Trauma
A space where your story can be met with compassion, understanding, and the patience it deserves.
Healing from trauma begins when you no longer have to face it alone — when your pain is witnessed, your story is honored, and your nervous system can finally exhale.
Life after trauma can feel disorienting — like you’re moving through the world on high alert, disconnected from yourself, or caught in patterns that no longer make sense but are hard to change. You might find it difficult to trust, to rest, or to feel safe in your own body. Even moments of calm can feel unfamiliar or undeserved.
Therapy with me is an invitation to slow down and begin rebuilding a sense of safety — in your body, your emotions, and your relationships. Together, we’ll gently explore the experiences that shaped you, how they continue to show up in your life, and what it means to feel grounded again. This work isn’t about reliving the past, but about understanding it with compassion so that it no longer defines your present.
In our sessions, you’ll have space to feel what was once too overwhelming to hold alone. We’ll work at your pace, honoring your readiness and capacity each step of the way. Through this process, healing begins to take root — creating space for more connection, self-trust, and a sense of peace that feels real and sustainable.
Integrating Your Identity with Your Whole Self After Trauma
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, anxious, or stuck in old patterns, therapy is a space to safely explore what’s happening beneath the surface — in your mind, body, and relationships. My role is to help you notice the ways trauma may be shaping your thoughts, emotions, and reactions, and to guide you in reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have been silenced or protected. Through this awareness, you can begin to reclaim safety, self-trust, and a sense of wholeness — creating space to live more fully, freely, and authentically.
What we'll work on in therapy:
Gently exploring past experiences to understand their impact and reduce their emotional intensity.
Learning skills to calm anxiety, manage overwhelm, and feel more grounded in the body.
Developing a sense of safety within yourself, in relationships, and in your environment.
Identifying how trauma shows up in thoughts, behaviors, and relationships, and learning to respond differently.
Integrating fragmented parts of your identity, reclaiming personal power, and nurturing resilience for lasting healing.
Working In Depth Makes A Difference
The work is about cultivating a relationship with all parts of yourself – even the ones you avoid – in order to discover a deeper sense of purpose, wholeness, and authenticity. This creates space for profound, lasting transformation.
